After posting a simple link to my blog on my cousin Jered's Facebook profile, I have received quite a backlash from my aunt who says she is a Christian.
I'm not friends with her on Facebook, thus she has posted about me on my cousin's wall.
Here is what my loving aunt has said about me and to me:

Wow, what a crazy ol' bat your aunt is! How insecure must she be? Her vitriolic responses are horrendous, but they're also pitiable.

Jesus tittyfucking christ.
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't even make sense!
ReplyDeleteIt's very ridiculous and incoherent. When she talks about the "seventh floor" this means that I should go to a mental institution. She also hates my father and brings him into this for some reason.
ReplyDeleteThis is great evidence that religion can be harmful. Of course not family members are going to act like this, but it's very sad that some do simply because of willful ignorance (I'm not even going to read what you wrote, she says), fear, etc.
Atheists are often accused of being angry. It would appear we have good reason most of the time, but we are never hateful and scared as your aunt clearly is.
ReplyDeleteI have a cousin who has just started standing up to my own posts, but at present, he is merely testing the temperature. I am sure he would not be capable of maintaining a sustained attack against my criticisms despite an excellent education at the LSE.
A little delusional he may be, but he has the sense to pick his fights.
Damn, she sounds like an old testament kinda girl.
ReplyDeleteHell hath no fury like a woman willfully ignorant and afraid of change!
I know people (some religious, some who aren't religious) who sound just like her. They are called sociopaths.

Sorry mate but you brought it on yourself with that hateful question you asked her regarding her feelings about your blog! I mean, she was being so nice and godly and then you just attacked her like that. (Joke) Wow, she sounds like a nasty piece! I'd love to be at the table if you pair ever ended up at Christmas lunch together. Keep up the good work mate, your country needs more people like you. You have those religious lunatics Rick Perry and Michele Bachmann snapping at the heels of the presidency and other charmers like those horrible human beings Anne Coulter, Glenn Beck, etc influencing large portions of the public. Any positive influences over there would be helpful. We currently have an ‘out’ atheist as our Prime Minister here in Australia which says some good things about our society; It looks like she’ll get kicked out at the next election but it will have nothing to do with her religious views, just some poor political decisions.
ReplyDeleteSheesh, what a psycho!
